Welcome!
Welcome to Grade 1B's blog for 2013. Here you will find student work samples, the weekly spelling words, our specialist timetable, Student of the Week, Show and Tell days, links to popular learning websites as well as other news about what we are learning about in school.
I hope that this space helps 1B students to share a range of learning experiences with their families. Enjoy!

We began the session by making a pyramid. Jake pointed out that it was a square-based pyramid. Then we went on to make a cube. We realised we had the shapes to make basic houses! This evolved into making a city of houses, Shape City. Suddenly other city features appeared such as roads, stop signs, trees, birds in trees, erasers as cars and sharpeners formed into skate parks!
