Money-Beasts!

What is a half?

We began the session by making a pyramid. Jake pointed out that it was a square-based pyramid. Then we went on to make a cube. We realised we had the shapes to make basic houses! This evolved into making a city of houses, Shape City. Suddenly other city features appeared such as roads, stop signs, trees, birds in trees, erasers as cars and sharpeners formed into skate parks!

Numbers

We are really trying to get to know numbers. In partners, we can take turns at writing numbers in a counting pattern. Last week, some of us started at 2 and counted until past 100. Some of us started at 100 or 200, and counted backwards by 2s! Here is a photo of our number strips.

Crafty Fun
